Aura’s energy seems to be coming back. She is well rested.
Here she has a bunch of pups between her front legs. She’ll wash them repeatedly here and keep them close.
They will be under constant 24×7 surveillance for the next week by us to make sure everything goes well. But, so far so good!! All of the pups came out at a great weight and are steadily gaining weight. Aura seems to have a never ending supply of milk. The first 48hrs are critical- the pups are taking in colostrum with antibodies.
